Xbox-PC controller question...
This might be kinda strange, but I just got a Xbox-PC adapter for my xbox controll. I cna play PC games with my Xbox controll. Got it for Halo, but was wondering if I could play other games with it, like Gw. Just a question. Might be kinda fun

You won't be able to play Guild Wars with a controller, but most first person shooters and 3rd person, sports, and sim games will play fine on a controller.

Actually I take that back, you maybe able to, but it would be very hard. If you can set the analog pads for moving around, and the left/ride side buttons for targetting then you can atleast do some of GW with the controller. Then you have 6 buttons for skills.

Actually, you should be able to setup the d-pad for 4 skills and the buttons for the other 4. You could do all 8 on d-pad, but I imagine that could get messy. I have the same thing, works great in BF2 and other games, but I never tried it in GW.

It should work with most game... but not sure if control pad is sufficent to work for the way GW controls are.
The biggest thing you would have to work on is trageting.

If you had a controller with enough buttons, (ex: one of logitech's that are similar to a PS2 dualshock), I would suggest modifying that setup a bit. Set the left analog to move/strage, the right to look, the face and shoulder buttons for skills, and the d-pad for targeting. I always thought this setup would work if GW were released to consoles.
